Just about everyone loves Saint Patrick’s Day because it’s fun and, unlike many other holidays, low pressure!  Whether you have a dinner party on March 17th or even use these ideas for a bridal shower, these are great for any tartan themed event.  Here are some great DIY entertaining ideas for throwing a fabulous shindig and making it your own.

Credit for the gorgeous event, food, and styling goes to Epilepsy Warrior  Niki Hyer and letterpress artist/owner at Curious Fox Press,  Cathleen Titcomb and photography by Authentic Portrait (that’s us!).dc event photographer Saint Patrick's DayPlacing the glass plates over green tartan highlights the print and emphasizes the theme.  It doesn’t hurt to have gold rims, either.  The rainbow fruit salad is a bright idea!

The little plaid ribbon flags on the toothpicks of the corned beef sliders are to die for!  Another amazing gift Niki and Cathleen treated their guests to was chic gold necklaces.  I love the way they used the tartan-print suitcase to display them.

These ideas are all so amazing and all the guests at this Saint Patrick’s Day dinner certainly felt LUCKY to be invited!
